Communicating the External Beam Radiotherapy Experience (CEBRE) en Español
El Instituto Bucksbaum para la Excelencia Clínica en la Universidad de Chicago y el Instituto de Oncología Radioterápica apoyaron el desarrollo de las nuevas guías educativas para los pacientes que reciben radioterapia. Las guías de discusión, Comunicando la Experiencia de Radioterapia de Haz Externo (CEBRE) en Español, están diseñadas utilizando narrativa gráfica para facilitar la comunicación con pacientes durante las consultas de radioterapia o antes de la simulación. Hay siete versiones de CEBRE en Español, incluyendo una versión general que se puede usar para todo tipo de cáncer y versiones para cáncer de Pulmón, Mama, Próstata, Sistema Nervioso, Sistema Digestivo, y Cabeza y Cuello.

The Bucksbaum Institute for Clinical Excellence at the University of Chicago and the Radiation Oncology Institute are funding development of novel education materials for patients receiving radiation treatment. The Communicating the External Beam Radiotherapy Experience (CEBRE) en Español discussion guides are designed as graphic narrative tools to facilitate communication with patients during the initial consultation or prior to simulation. There are seven versions of the CEBRE en Español discussion guides including a General version that can be used for all disease sites and versions for cancer of the Lung, Breast, Prostate, Nervous System, Digestive System, and Head and Neck.
